The IT Helpdesk is your first point of contact for all technical issues involving Pellissippi State computers, networks, phones, and software. Our technicians are ready to diagnose your problem, find the root cause and provide the best solution. If advanced support is needed, a service ticket will elevate the issue to be solved in a timely manner.

Student IDs

Students may come to any campus during regular hours of operation, without an appointment, to have their picture taken and student ID card made. Bring identification such as a driver’s license to:

• Hardin Valley Campus – (2 locations) Open Computer Lab (ERC 327), or Information Technology Desk (GN240)
• Site campuses – Campus Library

Forgot Password

Pellissippi State members who forget or lose their password may create a new password using the Microsoft self-service password reset tool.

Please try these steps prior to calling for assistance:

1. Go to
2. Select “Sign in”
3. Select “Can’t access your account?”
4. Select “Work or school account”
5. Type school email address and characters shown
6. Enter the MFA Authentication information
7. Enter the new password *

*The password must meet the length, complexity, age, and history requirements of our password policy:

• Length: Minimum 16 characters
• Complexity: Include any 3 of the following (uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, special character)
• Age: Different than your last 3 passwords used
• History: Cannot contain more than 2 consecutive letters from your name or username
